Enjoy! They could be more peanut buttery, but yes, they were good.
Sugar-Free Chocolate Syrup - FP
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup water
*2 cups xylitol OR 1 c. xylitol and 1 tsp. Stevia OR 3/4 cup Truvia
1/8 tsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. vanilla
Mix cocoa and water in a saucepan. On medium heat, stir to dissolve cocoa. Add xylitol or Truvia and stir occasionally until mixture comes to a boil. Let boil for 3 minutes. Take mixture off of heat and add salt and vanilla. Let cool before using. Store in a pint jar. Enjoy!
*In my opinion, xylitol works best in this recipe. 3/4 cup of Truvia will work but you must grind it first or you will end up with crystals in your syrup once cooled. From wholefoodmomonabudget.com
Now seriously, YUM! I am giving this a try soon. Can you believe you can eat something like this and lose weight or inches doing so? If you don't have xylitol, you can use Truvia or Stevia extract, but because I don't have the conversion (you could always google it) you may want to just add and taste until you get it to your liking.
